Designing
your rapid prototype tooling is based on four important customer
requirements: part geometry, the usage of your cast component, the
likelihood of changes in design and the number of pieces needed during the
program life.
You can upload your files directly or
email in any common format, or we can work from your prints or design
samples. Any modifications necessary for casting such as draft, shrinkage
and parting lines can be added at Ultracast in conjunction with your
engineering staff.
Our engineers can complete your component
designs in just hours, not the weeks required by other casting methods. As we work with your designers, we can make recommendations that will enhance your products, reduce prototype lead times and save you money on pre-production and production tooling. With proper planning, your prototype tooling can be leveraged for large capitol savings in tool investment.
